Prompts
Explore and manage tracked prompts.
The Prompts page manages the natural-language questions Genlytic tracks across all AI engines.
Prompt library
Your prompt library lists all active and inactive prompts. Each prompt shows:
- Current Win Rate (% of scans where your brand is Tier 1)
- Last scan date and model coverage
- Sentiment distribution across results
Add a prompt — click the + button and type a question. Best practice: use full questions in the format your customers ask AI engines, not keyword phrases.
Import from CSV — upload a CSV file with one prompt per line. The column header must be text.
Bulk actions — select multiple prompts to activate, deactivate, or delete them.
Win Rate
Win Rate is the percentage of scan results for a prompt where your brand appears at Tier 1 (primary mention):
win_rate = (tier_1_results / total_results_for_prompt) × 100
A win rate of 0% triggers a content_gap action in the Optimize queue. Win Rate is stored in prompts.latest_metrics.win_rate and updated after each scan.
Prompt Suggestions
Prompt Suggestions generates new prompt ideas based on your brand profile and scan data. To use it:
- Click the Discover button on the Prompts page
- Wait for suggestions to load (AI-generated, not pre-cached)
- Review each suggestion with its rationale and intent label
- Check the ones you want to add, then click Add selected
Prompt Suggestions are triggered manually only. They do not auto-populate when you open the page. Each discovery run calls the AI to generate suggestions fresh.
Prompt discovery is plan-gated. Check your plan limits for the number of discovery runs available per month.
Prompt detail panel
Click any prompt to open the detail panel. It shows:
- Full response archive from all models and scan dates
- Per-model win rate breakdown
- Sentiment trend for this specific prompt
- Link to the optimize actions generated for this prompt
